Ingredients for the Delicious Easter Puddings:

Softened unsalted butter with more for grease, 175g

Self-rising flour, 175g

Light Brown Sugar, 140g

Lemon Zest, 1

Orange Zest, 1

Beaten Eggs, 2

Quartered Natural Glacé Cherries, 25g

Sultana, 25g

Currant, 25g

Stash of pecans and walnuts

Grated nutmeg.

Now that we’ve set aside the necessary materials, let’s talk about how to put everything together!

  1. STEP 1: Set oven temperature to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6. Grease six individual pudding basins or dariole moulds and place a tiny circle of parchment paper in the bottom of each one. Boil the kettle as you place them in a deep roasting pan.
  2. STEP 2: Combine the butter, flour, sugar, egg yolks, and citrus zests in a bowl. Add a dash of salt. Use an electric hand whisk to mix just enough.
  3. STEP 3: Divide the mixture among the moulds after stirring in the dry fruit, pecans, walnuts, and a sprinkle of nutmeg. To fill the moulds roughly one-third to halfway, carefully pour hot water out from the kettle into the baking pan.
  4. STEP 4: Bake the dish for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into it emerges clean. Serve immediately.
