    We have a liking for crystallized fruit which can be a bit on the expensive side. If you like the pineapple then this is a much more economic way of buying it, not too sweet (you know its pineapple). Would definitely buy again, main downside is one eats too much of it.

    Still almost soft so is fine for a ‘glacé’ Christmas cake.
    A lovely alternative to so much dried fruit. I soaked this overnight with other ingredients. Makes a lovely fruity boozy cake which lasts till Easter.

    Needed for making a white Christmas cake & belonging to the “not known in Tesco” brigade of cake ingredients I used to be able to buy it in person in a shop – a really old-fashioned grocers store in Braintree but it got knocked down to make way for new, modern shops. The other place I could buy it was in Leadenhall Market off Leadenhall Street in the City not far from where I used to work, but again this beautiful Victorian covered market with it’s intricate, delicate ironwork was closed & pulled down to make space for yet more offices. Given those circumstances, buying online is obvious & it arrived fast, hardly any plastic packaging & in excellent condition. Thank you, seller, it was perfect.

    I love crystallised pineapple but it can be quite difficult to find and/or super expensive so when I found these on Dorri I was so pleased but at the same time a little worried because they’re so cheap. However, now that I have ordered more than 5kgs over the last months, I can guarantee you that these pineapple rings taste delicious ! They’re full of flavour and you can tell that the pineapple was perfectly ripe and juicy before it was crystallised. Yes it is very sweet but ALL crystallised fruits are extremely sweet. I have also been impressed by the delivery time and my pineapple rings always arrive perfectly packed. Cannot recommend Dorri more!

    Pineapple rings arrived very promptly. Very tasty, I used these chopped up small for a Christmas cake. Quite expensive for what they are, I have since discovered that Holland and Barrett sell them in small cubes, and are cheaper. Never mind; if you’re having trouble getting hold of these then this company is a great option. Nice product.
