These are the kind I like, there is a lot of variation. Some are sweeter, some are sour, some are soft, some are chewy or hard.

I had never tried actual figs until i first ordered these. I began by eating them straight from the bag, and though they tasted good, they were a bit dry for me. Then I read that they should be soaked in water for some time to help with digestion. After doing that, the flavor and texture is so much better. Im on my third bag from Dorri and no complaints from me. thanks!

I put these in a mason jar that I keep in the fridge at work and everyone is so creeped out by them that no one bothers to steal my snack! Good thing, because if they tasted these ugly (whitened natural sugar coated) treats they would eat them right up! Can’t judge a book by it’s cover! I don’t always eat the stem, but sometimes I do when I don’t have a compost bin around. About 2-3 of these is such the perfect snack with a cup of tea. They are less sweet tasting than dates and have just a tiny bit of tartness for balance. These were nice and plump and just as fresh as any I’ve had in the past.

I use these figs mostly as an addition to my breakfast oatmeal by flattening two of them and cutting them into small bits to cook along with the oatmeal. I also have two or three for an occasional dessert: one bite of fig + one half a pecan or walnut – very rich and satisfying. The texture is soft without being sticky the way dates can be. They have small stems that need to be either cut off, or left behind if you’re eating them directly as a snack.

Don’t leave a lot of reviews but these figs are amazing – tender but well dried – sweet – soft inside – good mouth feel – I like to eat straight out of the bag with a good chewy bagel and cup of coffee – makes a wonderful breakfast
